Zach Maslany
@bigunclezachmaslany | Zach Maslany is a life long martial artist with 30 years experience. He holds black belts in karate under tiger schulmann and jiu-jitsu under the legendary Eddie Bravo. Zach started Finishers MMA in 2013.
Jon Thor Blank
@jon_thor_blank | JON has also appeared on stages such as the RISE Invitational, Fight 2 Win, Kasai Pro, Finishers Sub Only, and more. He was in the top 25 pound for pound list for all of the 10th Planet schools for 3 years straight now, most recently taking the #3 spot. He also took 4th place at his ADCC debut in Anaheim in 2019, taking out Rustam Chsiev and Murillo Santana to make it to the semi finals.
Andrew Jones
@andrewjones10p | Andrew Jones as Enrollment Coordinator he is likely the first voice you hear if you call the school. He has been training in jiujitsu under Zach Maslany and Jon “Thor” Blank since 2013, and is a black belt. He is not only the enrollment coordinator of both Finishers locations but also an active competitor. Andrew also has experience in tae-kwon-do, wrestling, and kickboxing.
Quin Puryear
@quin_10p | Quinn Puryear is a 10th Planet brown belt under Jon Blank. He is one of the rare talented individuals in the 10th Planet system that created his own submission - a choke from rubberguard that he named the New York Necktie - and he has successfully used it in competition.
Laura Kent
@lauralies10p | Laura Kent is a brown belt under Finishers MMA training at both 10th Planet Bethlehem and 10th Planet Allentown. She also regularly organizes women’s only events such as open mats and the east coast women’s only no gi training camp at 10th Planet Bethlehem.
WIll Gracia
@wil_gracia | Wil Gracia is a brown belt under Zach Maslany and Jon Blank. He has been training since September of 2016 and first started training jiu jitsu because he wanted to know how to fight and defend himself in case of an altercation. Jiu jitsu has also helped him to cope with his anxiety and he competes regularly to keep his skills on point.

@zach_makovsky | Zach Makovsky is the head MMA coach and was top 5 in the UFC, Elitexc, Brave and is the former Bellator Bantamweight champion. He attended Drexel University and was captain of the wrestling team.
Rene Sousa
@rene_sousa | After 15 years of training and traveling the world doing jiujitsu, Rene reached black belt in Brazilian jiujitsu this year March 1, 2023. After competing on big stages like Who’s Number one, ADCC trials, and Who’s Next reality show, the competition only has been getting tougher and tougher. With having been an instructor and also a competitor, being a part of 10th Planet Bethlehem has always made me proud to represent our team. Continuing to develop things like the buggy choke, different style leg locks, judo, heavy passing, unorthodox submissions, and a lot of basketball.
Joel Figueroa
@joelitofigueroa | Joel is another one of our Kickboxing instructors and has over 16 years of experience in Muay Thai and Dutch Kickboxing. Joel also is a Blue Belt in Jiu Jitsu and has experience in Freestyle Wrestling. Joel teaches Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons.
Ricky Nuno
@rnuno1mma | Ricky is one of our striking coaches with over 10 years of martial arts and fighting experience. Ricky is a Blue Belt in Jiu Jitsu and teaches privates for MMA and MMA striking concepts. Ricky also is a former Professional MMA fighter and has experience in Professional Boxing as well.
Mike Ortiz
@mike83ortiz | Mike is one of our Kickboxing instructors who has over 13 years of experience and is a Purple Belt in Jiu Jitsu as well. Mike also has experience competing in MMA. Mike teaches Tuesdays and Friday evenings as well as Saturday mornings.
James Van Osdol
@jamesvanosdol | Osdol is a Purple Belt with 4 years of experience. Jimmy started training as a way to lose weight and lost over 50 lbs in his first year of training at Finishers MMA. Jimmy also runs the front desk at 10th Planet Bethlehem and teaches Tuesday and Saturday mornings.
